Gary W. Bell, Sr. of Liberty, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2020, at Baptist Health Lexington surrounded by his family. He was 68 years of age.
Born October 16, 1951, in Plano, Texas, he was a son of the late Garrett and Pauline Pierot Bell. Gary was a retired construction worker for T.A. Loving Company and was a United States Marine Corps Veteran having attained the rank of Sgt. He was faithful member of Mt. Pleasant Church and loved playing gospel and country music on his guitar. Gary loved his family.
Survivors include two sons, Gary W. Bell, Jr. (Kim) of Dunnville and Lyle Jason Willis (Felicia) of Liberty; two daughters, Jenna May Reams (Jim) of Tarboro, North Carolina and Priscilla Mann (Jasper) of Maysville, North Carolina; nine grandchildren, Rose, Christian J., Raymond, Randy, Samantha, Miranda, Kyle, Marissa, and Brenda; and two great-grandchildren, Brynlee and Indie. Gary is also survived by one brother, Clyde Bell (Wanda); and two sisters, Glenda Sue Kilough of Tyler, Texas and Katherine Heller (John) of Texas.
In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded by his spouse, Sarah Louise Willis; and two brothers, Marvin Bell and William “Bill” Bell.
Cremation rites were honored by McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
