Evette Marie Snead, of Beach Island, South Carolina, passed away Monday, June 15, 2026, at her home in Liberty. She was 71.
Born on December 31, 1954, in Port St. Joe, Florida, she was a daughter of the late Paul James Farmer and Mildred Poret Farmer.
Evette was a former assistant supervisor for a CVS warehouse. She loved animals and was a huge donor or ASPCA. She collected rocks, especially geodes, and enjoyed being outdoors, fishing and camping. Evette loved the beach and making seafood boils.
Evette is survived by her loving husband and best friend, Neytric Snead, who she wed on September 4, 1993; two sons, David (and Allison) Lanier of Greenville, SC and Jackson Donald (and Leah) Jamison of Gray, GA; a daughter, Marie (and Brandon) Anderson of Millen, GA; a sister Paulette Fulghum of Augusta, GA; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Mary Elizabeth Powell.
A Celebration of Life will be planned at a later date, to be held in Florida. Cremation rites were honored.
