Ephraim Z. Burkholder

Ephraim Z. Burkholder, of Liberty, passed away on July 24, 2021, at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington. He was 61 years and 4 months.

Ephraim was born March 24, 1960 in Union Co., PA, a son of Amos Burkholder and the late Anna Zimmerman Burkholder.

He is survived by his wife, Ada H. Burkholder; children, Martha (and Raymond) Shirk, Paul (and Marian) Burkholder, James (and Laura) Burkholder, Elizabeth (and Wayne) Brubaker, Anna (and Jonathan) Shirk, and Isaac Burkholder; 32 grandchildren; his father, Amos Burkholder; 2 sisters; and 4 brothers.

He was preceded in death by his mother: 1 sister; and 2 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 9:30AM on Thursday, July 29, 2021, at the Cedar Hill Mennonite Church with burial to follow in the Cedar Hill Cemetery. There will be a visitation on Wednesday from 2-4PM and 6-8PM at 9357 KY 501 South in Liberty.
