Obituary
Elmer Ray Brown, of Bowman Trail in Liberty, passed away on Sunday, May 1, 2022, at Liberty Care Center. He was 91.
Born April 7, 1931, in Casey Co., KY, he was a son of the late Gillen and Nancy Byrd Brown. Elmer was an auto mechanic and body shop worker. He was a member of the Walnut Hill Separate Baptist Church. Elmer was a Sergeant and platoon leader in the US Army during the Korean Conflict.
Survivors include his sister, Rose Cravens of Bardstown; 4 children and a host of grandchildren also survive.
Elmer was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Clyde and Herman Brown; and sister, Orine Richardson.
Funeral services will be at 12:00 Noon on Thursday, May 5, 2022, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Clifton Cowan officiating. Burial will follow in the Casey County Memorial Gardens with military rites by the Casey County Honor Guard.
Visitation will be from 11:00AM until time of services on Thursday at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.
