Dorothy “Dot” Clements, of Liberty, passed away on Friday, September 24, 2021, at Liberty Care and Rehab. She was 88.
Born on April 10, 1933, in Casey County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Clyde and Lucille Wethington Foster. She was a homemaker. Dot was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church. She enjoyed cooking, baking, traveling, and playing bingo and cards. More than anything, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandkids.
Dot is survived by two daughters, Cathy Holt and Debbie (Mike) Farris, both of Liberty; a son, Bryan (Dolly) Clements of Liberty; two grandchildren, Jennifer Rodgers and Wesley Clements; a great-granddaughter, Kayliee; and five sisters, Louise Lewis of Cincinnati, Jeanie (Bernal) Wethington of Louisville, Verna Lewis of Somerset, Janice Coffman of Louisville, and Joy (Joe) Traylor of Liberty.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Marvin W. Clements; a sister, Frances Smith; two brothers, James Foster and Charles Foster; and a grandson, Jonathan Farris.
A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at St. Bernard Catholic Church with Father George Otuma officiating. Burial will follow in St. Bernard Catholic Church.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Monday, September 27, 2021, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with a prayer service held at 7:30 P.M.
