Donna Sue Ware Wihebrink

Donna Sue Ware Wihebrink, of Union, formerly of Casey County, passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at her home. She was 58.

Born on August 6, 1967, in Liberty, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Raphael and Joyce Patton Ware. Donna was a very independent woman whose family was always her first priority in life. A devoted mother and homemaker, she dedicated her life to caring for her children, creating a loving home, and ensuring that those she loved were always cared for. Her children were the center of the world. She found great joy in expressing herself through art, especially painting and drawing.  She loved animals and cherished time spent outdoors. Donna spent thirteen years working as a customer service representative at UPS, balancing her career with her unwavering commitment to her family.

She is survived by her husband, James Andrew Wihebrink, Jr., who she wed on October 5, 1996; four children, Justin Alexander (and Jordan) Ware, of Covington, Jocelynn Karina Wihebrink of Villa Hills, Sara Isabella Wihebrink of Taylor Mill, and James Andrew Wihebrink III; a grandchild, Tanner Ware; a sister, Deborah Ware; four nieces, Leah Goforth, Natasha Gambrel, Hannah Black, and Megan Pendleton; and four nephews, Josh Goforth, Matthew Wade, Jonathan Ware, and Chris Pendleton.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two sisters, Carolyn Goforth and Diana Ware; a brother, Ronnie Ware; and a niece, Mariah Cashen.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Paul Patton officiating.

Family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.
