Dennis Allen Shanks

Dennis Allen Shanks, of Liberty, passed away Sunday, September 21, 2025, at his home.  He was 75.

He was a native of Waukesha, Wisconsin, born on August 29, 1950, to the late Dwight and Lena Flood Shanks.  Dennis was a US Army veteran and retired from Pike Industries, a company that specializes in producing scientific equipment, where he worked in the marketing department.  He enjoyed traveling, playing Pickleball and tennis.  Dennis loved tinkering with making things and enjoyed the company of his dogs.

He is survived by his daughters, Erin Jeranek (and Wade) of LaCrosse, WI and Meghan Kelling-Shanks of McFarland, WI; his son, Dominic Shanks (and Roxana) of Fairbanks, AK; his sister, Connie Rehbaum (and Larry) of Cedarburg, WI; and five grandchildren, Amelia, Eleanor, Isabella, Maxwell and Jacob.

Cremation rites were chosen.  There will be a Celebration of Life in honor of Dennis on a later date.
