David Allan Lawson

David Allan Lawson, of Liberty, passed away on Monday, October 7, 2024, at his home. He was 81.

Born on May 24, 1943, in Casey County, Kentucky, he was a son of the late Lewis and Erma Bernard Lawson. David loved country music and played at several venues in his younger days, even having recorded his own 45 record. Later in life, he played music with his brothers in a group he called the Three D’s. David also enjoyed comedy and usually had a humorous story to tell.

He is survived by a brother, Donald (and Veola) Lawson of Liberty. 

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Lewis Dale Lawson; and three sisters, Bernice, Joan, and Irene.

No services will be held at this time.
