Darrel Hopper

Darrel Hopper, of Liberty, formerly of Keyes, California, passed away on Sunday, July 6, 2025, at Casey County Hospital. He was 80.

Born on March 16, 1946, in Tulare, California, he was a son of the late Gordon and Mamie Gilstrap Hopper. Darrel was retired from management positions for manufacturing companies. He was an avid dirt bike rider and raced motocross for many years. He loved scuba diving, fishing, hunting, and camping.

He is survived by his loving wife, Darlene Chatterton Hopper, who he wed on December 29, 1962; a daughter, Stephanie Bledsaw, of Liberty; and two grandchildren, Elijah Bledsaw and Joshua Bledsaw.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Dewey Hopper; and three sisters, Pearl Martin, Faye Gilstrap, and Betty Hopper.

No services will be held.
