Coy Allen

Coy Allen, of Lexington, passed away on February 21, 2021, at the VA Hospital in Lexington, KY. He was 78.

Born August 4, 1942, in Casey County, KY, he was a son of the late Lured and Della Woodrum Allen. Coy was a retired truck driver and a US Army Veteran. He liked to fish.

Survivors include his sister, Geneva Nichols of Blue Ash, OH; nephews, Greg and Larry; and nieces, Sandy, Tina, and Annette.

He was preceded in death by his parents; twin infant children; brothers, Sherrell, Shelby, and Omer Allen; sister, Adele Stafford; and nephews, Mark and Jay.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM Saturday, February 27, 2021, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Andy Newman officiating. Burial will follow in the Whited Cemetery with military rites by the Casey County Honor Guard. Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon until 1:00PM on Saturday at the funeral home. Social distancing guidelines must be followed and facial coverings are required.
