Christine (Coleman) Foley

Christine Coleman Foley, of Liberty, passed away on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at Landmark of Danville. She was 84.

Born on August 23, 1937, in Casey County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Willie and Bertha Mae Durham Coleman. Christine was a homemaker. She was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, as well as singing gospel music.

She is survived by a daughter, Helen (Bruce) Hamm of Liberty; a son, Chester (Lisa) Foley of Yosemite; six grandchildren, Crystal (Kelly) Buis, Donovan (Melissa) Hamm, Nicholas Hamm, Janey Foley, Jon Foley, and Joshua (Kelsey) Foley; and eight great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her former husband, David Foley; and a brother, Willard Coleman.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, June 3, 2022, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Johnny Maupin and Bro. Kevin Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Durham Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. on Friday, June 3, 2022, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.
