Cheryle "Cookie" (Brucker) Inestroza

Cheryle “Cookie” Brucker Inestroza passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2023 at UK Hospital. She was 74 years old.

Born on October 20, 1948, in Cleveland, Ohio, Cheryle was the daughter of the late Joseph Kolenda and Margaret Williams. She was a homemaker all her life and never let anyone leave her home hungry. Cheryle loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Luis Inestroza; her daughters, Donna (Pat) Dell’aria and Sharon (Stephen) Peyton; her sons, Daniel ( Jeannie) Brucker, Richard (Trina) Brucker, and Dale Brucker; step-daughters, Rosa (Ronald) Cardona, and Karen Inestroza; step-son, David Inestroza; brothers, Kevin Kolenda and Kenny Hatala; and sister, Elizabeth Jenkins; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Kolenda Jr.; two sisters, Johanna Jenkins and Janice Debuty; and two grandsons, Richard Marrapodi and Timothy Brucker.

The family will receive friends from 3:30 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 16, 2023, at Tapscott Cemetery. A graveside service will be held at 4:00 P.M., Saturday, September 16, 2023, at Tapscott Cemetery. Burial will follow.
