Charles Junior Phillips

Charles Junior “Chuck” Phillips, of Oak Ridge, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at his residence. He was 69.

Born on July 14, 1956, in Chicago, Illinois, he was a son of the late Sam Phillips and Ruby Osborne. Charles was a former bricklayer. He enjoyed football, basketball, and was an avid University of Tennessee fan.

Charles is survived by three daughters; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one daughter; and a brother, Otis Phillips.

The funeral service will be held Sunday, June 21, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Bethelridge Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, June 21, 2026, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Jonathan, Sam, Chance, J.C., Cole, Chase, Wade, and Dalton Phillips.
