Carrie Lee (Hash) Joines

Carrie Lee Hash Joines, of Liberty, passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at Summit Manor in Columbia. She was 98.

Born on May 28, 1926, in Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Lee Andrew and Mattie Parsons Hash. Carrie was formerly employed by Cumberland Production Credit. She was a member of Creston Missionary Baptist Church.

Carrie had the following siblings: Robert Alvin Hash, Preston Hash, Steve Hash, David Hash, Gwyn Hash, Mary Martin, Ethel Warner, Katherine Wooten, Irene Farmer, Vivian Sanders, and Jessie Halsey; a special niece, Patricia Diane (James) Pittman; a special nephew, Ernest (Rachel) Hash, whom she raised; and a host of special great nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Mitchel Delmar Joines, who passed away on March 1, 1989.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Phillip Drake officiating. Burial will follow in Old Antioch Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Ernest Hash, James Pittman, Nicholas Pittman, Jonathan Woodrum, Jasper Pittman, Brayden Pittman.
