Carolyn Carmicle

Elsie Carolyn Carmicle, of Liberty, KY, passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2023. She was 82 years old.

Born on May 26, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Daniel Minor and Pina Rousey Bartle. She leaves behind her loving husband, Larry Richard Carmicle, whom she wed August 21, 1958. Carolyn was a homemaker all her life and was a loving mother and grandmother. She is described as the glue that held her family together. Carolyn was a member of First Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband, Carolyn is survived by her sons, Ricky (Patty) Carmicle, Nelson Carmicle, and David Carmicle; her daughters, Beverly Franchino and Angie Cruse; her brother, Daniel Minor; her sister, Patricia (Rob) Sanders; eight grandchildren, Justin, Brandon, Christian, Adam, Andrew, Robert, Jonathan, and Victoria; as well as a host of great-grandchildren.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Bobby Minor and Gary Minor; and her sister, Linda Combs.

A funeral service will be held Sunday, October 29, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, with Bro. Jimmy Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.
