Carol Diana (Poff) Wilson

Carol Diana Wilson, age 74, passed away on Tuesday, May 11, 2021, in Danville, KY.

Born August 18, 1946, in Casey Co., KY, she was a daughter of the late Alvin and Cleo Passmore Poff. Carol was a member of the Poplar Springs Baptist Church. She was retired from OshKosh B’Gosh. Carol enjoyed sewing, gardening, and canning.

Survivors include her husband, Garland Wilson, whom she wed on June 4, 1962; daughter, Charlene (and Jason) Bryant of Liberty; sons, Randy (and Cheryl) Wilson, Richard (and Barbara) Wilson, and Randal (and Becci) Wilson, all of Liberty; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a host of other children that Carol helped raise over the years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, William, Andy, Eugene, and Vernon Poff; and sisters, Pearl Martin, Evelyn Mason, Ina Emerson, Lillian Kay Passmore, and Juanita Thompson.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM Saturday, May 15, 2021, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Johnny Maupin officiating. Burial will follow in the Poplar Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8PM on Friday at the funeral home. Facial coverings are required.

Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
