Carlos Edward "Eddie" Holt

Carlos Edward “Eddie” Holt, of Russell Springs, passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at his home. He was 68.

Born on November 25, 1956, in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, he was a son of the late Willie and Daisy Luttrell Holt. Eddie formerly owned EdCon Gate and managed Liberty Gate for numerous years. He was an avid coon hunter that also loved horses and trading cars.

He is survived by his spouse, Shirley Traylor Holt, who he wed on December 23, 1983; a daughter, Sara (Robert) Luttrell of Russell Springs; two sons, James Holt and Jacob Holt, both of Russell Springs; eight grandchildren, Skylar, Spencer, Brooklyn, Gabriel, Carter, Elijah, Creed, and Ryder; a great-grandchild, Jackson; and three brothers, Mark (Teresa) Holt, Bruce (Valerie) Holt, and Larry Holt.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Levi Holt; four brothers, Carson, Eldon, Junior, and Wayne Holt; and a sister, Linda Thomas.

No services will be held at this time.
