Bro. Morris Bryant Obituary

Bro. Morris Bryant, of Liberty, passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at the Casey County Hospital.  He was 80.

He was born in Liberty, KY, on July 21, 1945, to the late Mitchell and Ruth Emerson Bryant.  Morris is the pastor of Liberty Tabernacle and was a strong believer in Jesus Christ. He was a believer in Malachi 4:5-6 and of Revelation 10:7. Morris was a follower of God’s prophet, William Marrion Branham. He also was a veteran and served in the US Army.

Morris is survived by his brothers, Jerry Bryant of Jeffersonville, IN and Jeff Bryant (and Debbie) of Laurel, DE; his sister, Wanda Keith of Louisville; his great-nephew, who was like a son to him, Clyde Zane Allen (and Charity, who was like a daughter to him) of Liberty ; his great-great-nephew, who Morris referred to as Papaw’s Buddy, Stephen Randall Allen; his nephews, Nathan Bryant, Anthony Bryant, Allen Bryant, Eric Buck, Marcus Bryant, and Daniel Bryant; his nieces, Stacy Smith and Debbie Lee; a great-niece, Amber McCoy and great-nephew, Matthew Keith; also surviving are 17 great-grand nephews and nieces and four great-great grand nephew and nieces.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Ken C. “John Hardin” Bryant; a sister, Trudy Sharon Buck; and a nephew, Richie Keith.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Nathan Bryant officiating. Burial will follow in Brush Creek Cemetery with military honors provided by Casey County Veterans Honor Guard.

The family will receive visitors from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may take the form of donations to the American Heart Association at PO Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284.
