Brenda Jeneane Davenport Price

Brenda “Jeneane” Davenport Price, of Lakeland, FL, peacefully passed away on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at her home.  She was 84.

Jeneane was born October 28, 1940, in Cincinnati, OH, to the late F.A. and Mary Ima Davenport. She retired as personnel officer of the Lake Cumberland District Health Department, Somerset, KY in 1997. She was a member of the Lake Gibson Church of Christ, Lakeland, FL.

She is survived by her nieces, Glenda Davenport of Tarpon Springs, FL and Kim Davenport of Nashville, TN; her nephew, Allen Davenport of Nashville, TN; her grandnephew, Ryan Floyd of Palm Harbor, FL; her great-grandnephew, Logan Floyd of Palm Harbor, FL; her dear aunt, Linda Simpson of Franklin, TN; her loyal uncle-in-law, Edward Sokolowski of San Antonio, TX; and a host of cousins, friends and dedicated caregivers.

In addition to her parents, Jeneane is preceded in death by her husband, Phillip Price.

Graveside services will be 11:00AM on Monday, June 23, 2025, at Antioch Cemetery, Phil, KY with Bro. Wilson Copeland officiating.
