Bobby Newton, age 63, passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at his home. Born to the late Burl and Linda “Judy” Newton of Clementsville, Kentucky. Bobby remained deeply connected to the area throughout his life and later made his home in Harrodsburg. Bobby worked for many years as a carpenter. He enjoyed spending time with friends, sharing stories and laughter. He also had a special bond with his beloved dog, “Hooch”, who was always by his side.
Above all, Bobby cherished his family. He is survived by his wife, Debbie Newton; his son, Kris (Chelsea Dean) Newton; one grandson, Arthur Thomas Newton; one brother, Jimmy (Vicky) Newton; twin sister Barb (Eric) Rohe; two younger sisters Brenda Goins and Lisa (Frank) Stedam. Bobby was preceded in death by his brother and best friend, Gary Newton.
Visitation will be held at Sims Funeral Services on Saturday, March 28th at 10:00 am with the funeral beginning at 12:00 pm. Services will be led by Brother Bob Logue at Sims Funeral Services in Harrodsburg. Graveside services will be held following his funeral at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Clementsville, Kentucky, with committal prayer led by Danny Clements.
Pallbearers are Greg Farmer, Bryan Rohe, Justin Rohe, Tyler Newton, Patrick Newton, Bryan Moore and R.T. Dean III. Honorary pallbearers are Colton Stedam, Jimmy Preston, Charles Miracle, and Bob Spears.
