Bob Garrett

Bob Garrett, of Dunnville, passed away on Tuesday, March 2, 2021, at the UK Hospital in Lexington. He was 75.

Born July 2, 1945, in Casey Co., KY, he was a son of the late Harlan and Adell Lee Garrett. Bob was a former gate hauler and carpenter. He loved gardening and spending time with his family, especially all of his grandchildren. Bob could often be seen driving around on his golf cart. He was also an ordained minister having last preached at The Lord’s Harvest Church in Russell County.

Survivors include his wife, Faye Lane Garrett, whom he wed on June 19, 1964; son, Greg Garrett of Dunnville; daughters, Karen (and Jimmy) Vaught of Dunnville and Lisa Patton of Dunnville; sisters, Beulah Miller of Dunnville, Evelyn (and Buel) McDonald of Liberty, and Louise Redford of Dunnville; 9 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

There will be a graveside funeral service at 1:00PM on Friday, March 5, 2021, at the Salem Cemetery in the new part. Bro. Leonard Pierce will officiate. There will be no visitation.

Pallbearers will be Steven Garrett, Robbie Vaught, Weston Garrett, Jackie Miller, Josh Robbins, and Neil Allen.
