Bill Lee Smith

Bill Lee Smith, of Dunnville, passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset. He was 83.

Born on August 21, 1941, in McCreary County, Kentucky, he was a son of the late Sullivan and Lucy Spradlin Smith. Bill retired from Southern States where he worked for thirty-three years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and boxing. He was an avid UK sports fan.

He is survived by four daughters, Mary Jane (Mark) Hatfield of Liberty, Glenda Bottoms of Liberty, Deborah Swinney of Windsor, and Debbie Mordecai of Alabama; and a son, David (Carol) Reynolds of Alabama; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Carl Smith and Rex Allen Smith; and a sister, Virginia Rushing.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife, Evelyn Morgan Smith; a son, David Lee Smith; a brother, James Smith; and two sisters, Rachel Slaven and Deanie Phillips.

No services will be held at this time.
