Bill Leatherbury Obituary

Bill Leatherbury, age 72, of Dunnville, passed away on Friday, October 15, 2021, at the Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset, KY.

Born May 23, 1949, in Switzerland Co., IN, he was a son of the late Chester and Mary Pickett Leatherbury. Bill was a retired foreman and welder for Arvin’s in Franklin, IN. He was a US Army Veteran. He was a hardworking, very loving, and caring father that would go above and beyond for family. He had a sense of humor, loved to make people smile and laugh, and never met a stranger. His family has many treasured memories together – he will be missed, remembered, and not forgotten. Bill loved fishing, hunting, as well as ice cream cones. He lived life to the fullest. He would often say we never know when our last day will be, when it is your time to go it is your time to go.

Survivors include his children, Michelle Leatherbury, Gary Partin, and Terra Partin; brothers, Chester (and Carolyn) Leatherbury, Hugh Leatherbury, and James (and Nancy) Leatherbury; sisters, Mary and Sharon Leatherbury; 7 grandchildren; and loving special friends, Trinna Leatherbury, Buddy and Ula Tinsley, Jeff Luckey, Kent Emerson, Timmy Belcher, and Kenny Belcher.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents and 5 brothers.
