Barbara "Barb" Newton Rohe

Barbara “Barb” Newton Rohe, of Cincinnati, OH, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2026, at Mercy Health-West Hospital in Cincinnati. She was 63.

She was born on August 17, 1962, in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Burl and Linda “Judy” Wethington Newton. She was the owner of P1 Contracting in Cincinnati. Barb loved being with her family and her dogs. She was a giving person, nothing gave her more joy than to give.  Barb was of the Catholic faith.

Barb is survived by her loving husband, Eric Rohe who she wed on March 2, 1985; two sons, Justin (and Katie) Rohe of Lawrenceburg, Indiana and Bryan Rohe of Cincinnati, Ohio; a brother, Jimmy (and Vicky) Newton of Campbellsville; two sisters, Brenda Goins of Liberty and Lisa (and Frank) Stedam of Owenton; a sister in law, Debbie Newton, of Harrodsburg; two grandchildren, Madalyn Rohe and Jeremiah Rohe; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby Newton and Gary Newton.

A funeral mass will be held Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. at St. Bernard Catholic Church with Father George Otuma. Burial will follow in St. Bernard Cemetery. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Monday, May 18, 2026, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Greg Farmer, Kristopher Newton, Tyler Newton, Frank Stedham, Terry Cox and Bobby Kent Wethington.

Family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. on Monday, May 18, 2026, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home and from 8:00 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. prior to the procession to St. Bernard Catholic Church on Tuesday, May 19, 2026.

Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to St. Bernard Catholic Church, 5075 S KY 551, Liberty, Ky 42539.
