Barbara Ann (Abbott) Paynter

Barbara Ann Abbott Paynter, of Liberty, passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset. She was 80.

Born on August 29, 1943, in Cinncinnati, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Clarence Abbott Jr. and Dorothy Lee Jones Abbott. Barbara enjoyed cooking and baking. She loved her pets.

She is survived by one son; a brother, Ricky Abbott; a sister, Pam Michaels; a grandchild; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Abbott; a sister, Joyce Davis; and a grandchild.

No services will be held, per Barbara’s wishes.
