Barbara (Davis) Hampton

Barbara Hampton, of Liberty, passed away on Saturday, June 5, 2021, at Baptist Health in Lexington. She was 78.

Born on December 14, 1942, in Casey County, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Leonard and Victoria Cleary Davis. Barbara was a caretaker. She was a member of Walnut Hill Separate Baptist Church. She loved being involved with her church.

She is survived by a granddaughter, Sarah (Austin Sullivan) Copley of Russell Springs; five great-grandchildren, Adalyne, Serenity, Azlynn, Waverly, and Easton; a sister-in-law, Carolyn Yaden; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Amos Hampton; a daughter, Pamela Copley; a granddaughter, Whitney Copley; two sisters, Marie Huff and Lena Caldwell; and three brothers, Arvil Davis, Bluford Davis, and Leonard Davis, Jr.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Hustonville Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.
