Obituary

Barbara Jo Raley Hamilton passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, at Hospice Care Center in Ashland. She was 72.

Born on December 6, 1949, in Lebanon, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Juanita Yaste Raley. Barbara was a schoolteacher for many years. She enjoyed painting and crochet.

She is survived by a daughter, Alana (Christopher) Murphy of Ashland; one grandchild, Autumn Murphy; a brother, Kenny (Anne) Raley of South Carolina; and a sister, Connie Smothers of Nicholasville.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Debbie Norris.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 19, 2022, at Ryder Cemetery in Lebanon.
