Anthony Ray Wethington

Anthony Ray Wethington of Dunnville, KY, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2020, at the UK Hospital in Lexington. He was 45.

Born August 1, 1974, he was a son of Roger Wethington and Hazel Cox Wethington. Anthony worked in maintenance for the Green River Lake US Army Corps of Engineers. Anthony knew how to “light up a room” with his sense of humor and outgoing personality. He was a diehard Pittsburgh Steelers fan and he also loved college basketball, particularly his UK Wildcats. A few years ago, Anthony made the decision to accept Jesus Christ as his savior and was Baptized.

Survivors include his wife, Missy Medaris Wethington, whom he wed on November 29, 1997; father, Roger Wethington of Dunnville; mother, Hazel Cox Wethington of Liberty; daughter, Amber Dawn Bernard of Dunnville; brother, Brent (and Patty) Wethington of Dunnville; grandsons, Brayden Adam Kyle and Kamdyn Rae Bernard; nephew, Michael Wethington; and a host of other family and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be at 1:00PM Thursday, March 19, 2020, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Father Thomas Clark officiating. Burial will be held privately at the Wethington Family Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6:00PM on Wednesday at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Paul Cox, Brian Aker, Pete McQueary, Ronnie Joe Elmore, Stevie Lee, and Aaron Grigsby.
