Anna Louise Lee

Anna Louise Lee, of Liberty, passed from this life to her heavenly home on Thursday, October 17, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was 78.

Louise was born at home in Liberty, KY on September 27, 1946, to Delbert Richard Lee and Betty Smith Bradley. She was raised in Liberty by her grandparents Noble and Della Lee. Through the years, she hosted and cooked for many family holiday meals. She opened her home to family, friends, and the broken and hurting. She loved to read, sing, and write. Louise was known to randomly burst out an old church hymn.

She was the beloved mother to 10 children, Ricky (Debbie) Hogue, Sherrie Delong, Anthony (Ann) Hogue, Andrea (David) Neal, Alan Hogue, Melissa Hogue, Nikki (David) Lynn, Amanda (Steven) Kidd, Michael (Neina) Hogue, and Kari Hogue. Louise also had many wonderful grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She is survived by her sister, Della Lee Jeffries.

Louise was preceded in death by a brother, Rick Lee and his wife Robin; her 3 children, Nikki, Anthony, and Michael; and 2 grandchildren, David Hogue and Greyson Hayes.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
