Wanda Johnson Obituary

Wanda M. Johnson, of Liberty, passed away on Friday, December 28, 2018, at Liberty Care and Rehab. She was 78.

Born on December 15, 1940, in Casey County, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Clyde and Grace Patterson Snow. Wanda was a homemaker. She was a member of Indian Creek Baptist Church. She loved the Kentucky Wildcats and to go rabbit hunting. Wanda was a very loving mother.

Wanda is survived by three sons, Robert Dean (and Leisa Miller) Durham of Campbellsville, Ronald David Durham of Campbellsville, Steven Wayne (and Rebecca) Durham of Liberty; and a daughter, Patricia Jo (and David) Dalton of Danville. Other survivors include a brother, Dale Snow of Ohio; a sister, Wilma (and Curtis) Robertson of Kings Mountain; fourteen grandchildren; and seventeen great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her spouse, Richard Durham, who passed away on March 17, 1980; and a son, Richard Dale Durham.

The funeral service will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, December 30, 2018, at Mount Calvary Baptist Church with Bro. Ronnie Haste officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. at Mount Calvary Baptist Church.

Ms. Wanda’s pallbearers will be her grandsons.
