Stanley Coffman

Stanley Coffman, of Louisville, passed away on Friday, June 29, 2018 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.  He was 72.

Born on May 5, 1946 in Casey County, Stanley was the son of the late Albert “Buzz” and Lennie Hale Coffman. He was retired from General Electric Company where he spent many years. Stanley loved to fish and watch westerns.

He is survived by his wife, Janice, whom he married on February 21, 1970; one son, Steve (Donna) Coffman of Louisville; one brother, Davey (Ruth) Coffman of Liberty; one sister, Nellie (Eugene) Lewis of Liberty; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and very special family members Katie Devine, Billy Robertson, Amy Johnson, William Robertson and Laura Robertson.

In addition to his parents, Stanley is proceeded in death by two brothers, Garry and Maurice Coffman.

The Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at St. Bernard Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.

 The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, July 3, 2018, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, with prayer services at 7:00 P.M..

Stanley’s pallbearers will be William Robertson, Billy Robertson, David Lewis, Johnny Lewis, Bryan Clements and Jonathan Farris.
