Sandra Kay Murphy Means, of Louisville, passed away on Tuesday, April 24, 2018, at Wesley Manor in Louisville. She was 69.
Born on March 1, 1949, in Liberty, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Sherman Murphy and Edith Edwards Murphy Grimes. Kay was an accounting clerk. She loved to travel. She was of the Christian faith.
Kay is survived by her daughters, Malisa (Stephen) DiPaola and Nina (Vince) Dotta, both of Louisville; a brother, Roger (Linda) Murphy of London; eight grandchildren, Chris (Ashley) DiPaola, Carly DiPaola, Mason DiPaola, Anthony DiPaola, Alexis Massey, Melanie Dotta, Adriana Dotta and Anthony Dotta; and one great-grandchild, Carson DiPaola.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 27, 2018, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Dr. Joey Murphy officiating. Burial will follow in Murphy Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 27, 2018, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.
