Ronnie D. Salyers, of Waynesburg, passed away on Friday, August 9, 2019, at his residence while surrounded by his loving family. He was 70.
Born on July 6, 1949, in Casey County, Kentucky, he was a son of the late Denzil and Elvera Christine Sneed Salyers. Ronnie was a self-employed brick and stone mason. He was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church. Ronnie loved his wife and family abundantly. He enjoyed fox hunting.
He is survived by his wife, Jody Carman Salyers, who he wed on June 6, 1969; two sons, Jeff (Mandy) Salyers of Eubank and Dennis Salyers of Waynesburg; and two daughters, Aundria (Jason) Radliff of Waynesburg and Jessica (Andrew) Clements of Liberty. Other survivors include two brothers, Donnie (Sherry) Salyers of Kings Mountain and Brent (Teresa) Salyers of Middleburg; a sister, Beverly Salyers of Kings Mountain; ten grandchildren, Courtney Radliff, Ivory Radliff, Blake Radliff, Cory Salyers, Dustin Moore, Joshua Salyers, Alyssa Salyers, Bradley Passmore, Grace Passmore and Brooklyn Clements; and three great-grandchildren, Catlynn Moore, Chloe Moore and Raelynn Salyers.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, August 11, 2019, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie Haste and Bro. Tim Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Salyers Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. on Saturday, August 10, 2019, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.
