Riley P. Sallee, of Liberty, passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2020, at Casey County Hospital. He was 89.
Born on August 1, 1930, in Casey County, he was a son of the late Stewart and Lucy Copley Sallee. Riley was a sawmiller worker and a farmer. He was a member of the Church of Christ. He enjoyed ginseng digging and working in his garden.
He is survived by his wife, Alice Mae Lanham Sallee of Liberty; and three sisters, Fonniel Davenport of Casey County, Faustene Davenport of Casey County, and Betty (Lee) Harris of Edinburg, Indiana.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by six sisters and four brothers.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, January 26, 2020, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Kenny Spaw officiating. Burial will follow in Lanhamtown Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, January 26, 2020, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.
