Raymond Lee of Liberty, Kentucky passed from this life on Friday, June 15, 2018 at the Russell County Hospital. He was 88 years of age.
Born March 24, 1930 in Casey County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Sam and Linnie Overstreet Lee. Raymond was a retired minister after many years in the service for the Lord. He also was a self-employed car salesman. Throughout his life, Raymond attended the Highway 206 Pentecostal Holiness Church and various other churches. He loved attending church and playing music with his family.
Survivors include four sons, Ronnie Lee of Liberty, Tony (Susan) Lee of Garrard County, Ricky Lee of Dunnville, and Terry (Shannon) Lee of Jessamine County; nine grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Raymond is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lorene Chaney Lee, who passed away February 28, 2016; one son, Danny Lee; four brothers, Earl Lee, Carl Lee, Wesley Lee, and George Lee; and five sisters, Dorothy Pendleton, Iva Harrison, Carrie Mason, Beulah Cook, and Kathleen McQueary.
Funeral services are 2:00 P.M. Monday, June 18, 2018 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Brother Eugene Sneed and Brother Donnie Bunch officiating. Burial will follow in Salem Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Sunday evening from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Those serving as Raymond’s pallbearers are: Ronnie Lee, Tony Lee, Ricky Lee, Terry Lee, Brandon Lee, and Adam Atwood.
