Ray Martin Obituary

Ray Martin, of Liberty, passed away on Friday, February 15, 2019, at his residence. He was 89.

Born on June 19, 1929, in Liberty, Kentucky, he was a son of the late Noble and Alta Gosser Martin. His late wife was Anna Ruth Cravens Martin. He is preceded in death by a grandson, Christopher Martin.

Ray was a farmer and owned several trailer parks. He was a member of Bruces Chapel Church.

Survivors include: a son, Larry Martin of New Albany, Indiana; a daughter, Lanna (and Danny) McAninch of Liberty; and one brother, Marvin Martin of Liberty. He has three surviving grandsons, Michael Tapscott, Lamie Martin and Jason Martin; and several great-grandchildren. He also has one step-grandson, Kieran McAninch and one step-granddaughter, Emily Corn.

A private family graveside service will be held at South Fork Cemetery, where he will be buried beside his late wife.
