Nellie B. Means, of Liberty, passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2019, at Liberty Care and Rehab. She was 77.
Born on August 25, 1942, in Casey County, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Milford and Ruby Crawford Lane. Nellie was a caregiver. She loved to read and drink coffee. She also loved gardening.
She is survived by a daughter, Tami Campbell of Yosemite; three sons, Greg (Jenny) Means of Liberty, Barry Means of Liberty and Brian Means of Yosemite; a sister, Roberta Phillips of Stanford; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a son, Troy Means; two sisters, Janet Douglas and Janie “Monkey” Morrison; five brothers, Clell Lane, Donald “Dude” Lane, Lewis “Buster” Lane, Timmy Lane and Billy Lane; and two great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, October 29, 2019, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Vest officiating. Burial will follow in Napier Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, October 29, 2019, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Greg Means, Barry Means, Brian Means, Roger Means, Leon Wesley and Clinton Noe.
