Nadine Carr Fights, 81, of Russell Springs, passed away from this Earth on Wednesday, May 16, 2018, to be with Christ. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister.
Born on May 22, 1936, in Casey County, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late James Allen and Edna Pearl Carr Fights. Nadine was an office manager and a bookkeeper. She loved spending time with her family, reading and bird watching.
She is lovingly remembered and missed by her daughter, Karla (Dwight) Bastin of Russell Springs, two granddaughters, Jami (Michael) West of Somerset and Amanda (Larry) Hughes of Salvisa; and five great-grandchildren, Chloe, Ashlynn, Anna, Ava and Ansley. She is also survived and lovingly remembered by two sisters, Margaret (Kenneth) King of Liberty and Delores Edwards of Mt. Washington; two brothers, Rodney Fights of Elizabethtown and James Garth Fights of Denton, Texas; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Nadine is preceded in death by six sisters and one brother.
The funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. EST on Friday, May 18, 2018, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Bailey officiating. Burial will follow in Brush Creek Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. EST on Thursday, May 17, 2018, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.
