Marvine Epp Crutcher, of Liberty, passed away on Tuesday, May 8, 2018, at her residence. She was 77.
Born on April 9, 1941, in Los Angeles, California, she was a daughter of the late Marvin and Helen Volkman Epp. Marvine was a retired deputy sheriff at the Casey County Sheriff’s Office. She attended Liberty First Baptist Church and was a trustee on the Casey County Library Board from 1992-2002. Marvine was later on the Casey County Library advisory board for several years. She had a wonderful sense of humor with an upbeat attitude and she truly never met a stranger.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas “Tom” Crutcher, whom she wed on November 19, 1977; three daughters, Cindy Cordon of Berea, Ohio, Wendy (Dale) Knight of Liberty and Doree (Howard) Heckman of Liberty; and two sons, Scott (AdriAne) Carroll of Bonita, California and Tom Crutcher of Moreland; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, May 11, 2018, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Crutcher Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, May 10, 2018, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.
