Mabel E. Morgan, of Russell Springs, passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2018, at Fair Oaks Health Systems in Jamestown, having attained the age of 84.
Born on July 6, 1933, in Casey County, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Tommy and Myrtle DeHart Mason. Mrs. Morgan was a member of Mt. Calvary Community Church. She loved to garden and enjoyed caring for others. Mabel also loved animals, especially her cat.
Survivors include her husband, Milton Morgan of Russell Springs; five children, Linda Lou (and James) Sturgill of Russell Springs, Gilbert (and Sheryll) Daniel of Somerset, Charles (and Mary) Daniel of Windsor, Larry (and Oleda) Daniel of Dunnville, and Timothy Daniel of Dunnville; nine grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Vernie Mae Roberts of Shelbyville, Indiana.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a son, Eddie Daniel; two brothers, Alford Mason and William Mason; and her first husband, Ray Daniel.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 9, 2018, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Hershel Lawhorn officiating. Burial will follow in Thomas Ridge Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 9, 2018, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Gary Owens, Ed Sturgill, Tyler Owens, Dustin Brown, Ray Owens, and Frank High.
