Joseph Patchell Obituary

Joseph Wayne (JW) Patchell, of Liberty, passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2018, at his residence. He was 32.

JW was born in Santa Barbara, CA, and grew up in Madera, CA. After graduating from high school, he enlisted to the US Navy for over 6 years. His latest job was as an electrician with Komatsu Mining Corp. in Lebanon, KY. He loved his job and his coworkers loved him.

JW was preceded in death by his father, Alan Patchell; and grandfather, Leighton Martin.

He is survived by his son, Jameson Leighton Patchell; mother and step father, Cindy and Mark Vail; sisters, Amiee Patchell Steffy, DeeAnna Patchell, Melissa Chase, Cathy Vail Bare; a brother, William Patchell; grandparents, Jack and Francene Markle and Betty Martin; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

JW's celebration of life will be from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. PST on March 25, 2018 at Veteran's Hall, 2026 N Granada Ave, Madera, CA 93637.
