Joan Georgick Obituary

Joan Francine Georgick, of Liberty, passed away on Friday, January 3, 2020, at University of Kentucky Medical Center. She was 75.

Born on January 1, 1945, in Chicago, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Clare Von Trapp McMahon. Joan retired from Abbott Laboratories in North Chicago, Illinois, as a Financial Analyist. She was active with the Casey County Homemakers Club, the American Quilters Society and the Casey County Red Hat Society.

She is survived by her husband, Richard A. Georgick of Liberty, who she wed on December 8, 1983; two daughters, Ginette Ferrari of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin and Yvette (Dan) Utpadel of West Bend, Wisconsin; and two sons, Tom (Karen) LeDonne of Geona City, Wisconsin and Joe (Char) LeDonne of Kenosha, Wisconsin. Other survivors include ten grandchildren, Kim, Joey, Kristi (David), John, Sydney, Mariah, Bailey, Mallory, Kayla and Brytni; four great-grandchildren, Keegan, Dawson, Jace and Jayden; and two sisters, Pat McLeod of Lake Villa, Illinois and Maureen McMahon of Portage, Indiana.

Cremation rites for Mrs. Joan Georgick were honored by McKinney-Brown Funeral Home. Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
