Janice Kay Phillips, of Liberty, passed away on Monday, October 21, 2019, at her residence. She was 66.
Born on August 29, 1953, in Switchback, West Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Lacy F. and Pearl Johnson Phillips. She was of the Separate Baptist faith. Janice was an avid Elvis Presley fan. She loved to sing and read her bible.
She is survived by a sister, Katie (Randall) Carman of Liberty; two nieces, Lisa (Travis) Miracle and Phyllis Lally; and two nephews, Jeff (Kim) Thomas and Gary (Edith) Thomas. Other survivors include several great-nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Dallas F. Phillips.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, October 24, 2019, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Bailey officiating. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, October 23, 2019, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.
