James "Jack" Chansler Obituary

James B “Jack” Chansler, of Kings Mtn., passed away on Thursday, October 17, 2019, at Compassionate Care Center in Richmond. He was 90.

Born on October 20, 1928, in Casey County, Kentucky, he was a son of the late Ersia Chansler Hogan. James was a sawyer.

He is survived by three sons, James Michael (Sandy) Chansler of Lancaster, Carl (Janie) Chansler of Liberty and Kenneth Chansler of Richmond; two daughters, Priscilla Bamba of Arizona and Jennifer Gail Childress of Yosemite; 17 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. James is also survived by a sister, Hazel of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by a daughter, Teresa Conner; and a son, Gary Lee Chansler.

No services will be held at this time.
