Jack “Cody” Ebenschweiger, of Russell Springs, passed away on Friday, May 25, 2018, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. He was 60 years young.
Born on August 6, 1957, in Ohio, he was a son of the late Jack and Elizabeth “Belle” Earles Ebenschweiger. Cody was an avid fisherman.
He is survived by his wife, Sondra Reeder Ebenschweiger, whom he wed on December 6, 1990; a daughter, Brittany Long; two step-daughters, Tonya (John) McBeath and Pam Camp, both of Russell Springs; and two step-sons, Chris Irvin of Russell Springs and Shane (Amy) Irvin of Liberty. Other survivors include twelve grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three sisters, Marnella Godbey of Yosemite, Gussie Hines of Liberty and Annette Earles of Hyden.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his brother, Luther Cox.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M. EST on Tuesday, May 29, 2018, at South Fork Cemetery with Bro. Bill Mullins officiating.
In lieu of flowers, contributions of sympathy may be made to McKinney-Brown Funeral Home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
