Homer Langdon, of Hustonville, passed away on Sunday, March 18, 2018, at his residence. He was 70.
Born on June 19, 1947, in Confluence, Kentucky, he was a son of the late Potter Langdon and Laura Smith Robinson. He was retired from National Starch and Chemical Company. Homer was a Vietnam veteran and was awarded a Silver Star. He was also an avid fisherman.
Homer is survived by his loving wife, Sally J. Lucas Langdon; two sons, Mark Langdon of Frankfort and Darren (Catherine) Langdon of Indianapolis, Indiana; and two grandsons, Wyatt and Dustin. He is also survived by his sister, Mary (Ron) Kidd of London.
In addition to his parents, Homer is preceded in death by four brothers, Guston Langdon, Jasper Langdon, Ledford (Anna) Langdon and Dorris Langdon.
The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 23, 2018, at Indian Creek Baptist Church with Bro. Dwayne Orange officiating. Burial will follow in K.P. Hall Cemetery with military honors by the Casey County Honor Guard.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 22, 2018, at Indian Creek Baptist Church.
