Other survivors include two sisters, Priscilla Keith and Camilla Stastny; a brother, J.C. Barnard; ten grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his firstborn, Timothy Barnard; and a brother, Hershel Barnard.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Brad Teubert officiating. Burial will follow at Salem Cemetery.
