Hazel Marie “Mammie” Hale, of Mannsville, passed away on Monday, February 5, 2018, at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville, having attained the age of 85.
Hazel was born in Casey County, Kentucky, on February 29, 1932. She was a homemaker. Ms. Hale enjoyed embroidery, gardening, and caring for her dogs.
Survivors include her grandchildren, Lindsey Lynn, Sarah Grider and Gloria (Jayme) Summers; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
Ms. Hale is preceded in death by her husband, Fred Wilbur Hale, who passed away on November 8, 1994; her daughter, Wanda Grider; a grandson, Matt Grider; and a great-grandson, Zach Summers.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 9, 2018, at Casey County Memorial Gardens with Father Lawman Chibundi officiating.
