Greg Atwood Obituary

Greg Atwood, of Liberty, passed away on Tuesday, January 8, 2019, at Casey County Hospital. He was 57.

Born on November 18, 1961, in Casey County, Kentucky, he was a son of the late Warren Clyde and Lois Cochran Atwood. Greg was a gate hauler.

He is survived by two sons, Gregory Warren Atwood of Liberty and Alexander (Brandi Dean) Atwood of Colorado Springs, Colorado; a sister Carol (Verbal) Roy of Liberty; and two brothers, Darrell (Jeanie) Atwood and Mike (Lyla) Atwood, both of Liberty.

In addition to his parents, Greg is preceded in death by his wife, Jodi Heselton Atwood, who passed away on June 19, 2017, and one sister, Deanna Browning.

A memorial service will be held to honor the lives of both Greg and Jodi Atwood at 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, January 15, 2019, at Walnut Hill Separate Baptist Church with Jessie Riley officiating.
