Eveleen Miller (Atwood) of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Saturday, August 4, 2018, at her residence in Cincinnati. She was 86 years of age.
Born on June 9, 1932 in Liberty, Kentucky, she was a cherished daughter of the late Kelsey and Myrtle Atwood. She was a loving sister of eleven brothers and sisters. She is survived by Dewey Atwood and Patricia Carol Emerson. She retired from the Cincinnati Bell Telephone Company after 20 years where she worked as a long-distance switchboard operator. She was working the day JKF was assassinated.
She loved the color yellow, cooking, winning at the domino game chicken-foot (which she did often), knock-out roses, coffee, pinto beans & cornbread, Days of our Lives, shopping for clothes & shoes at Goodwill, her family & friends, and Jesus. She loved having visitors and everyone who came knew that she would always have a sweet treat.
She is survived by two children, Jo Ann Hill and Ronald Wayne Hill both of Cincinnati, OH. Adored grandmother of Patricia Fenton, Chad Hill, James Hollenberg, Debra Joyce Petrey, and the late Robert Hollenberg. Dear great grandmother of 10. She will be deeply missed.
The funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. EST on Saturday, August 11, 2018, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. JR Grant officiating. Burial will follow in Whited Cemetery, Liberty, KY.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. EST on Friday, August 10, 2018, at McKinney Brown Funeral Home.
